Samaritan Village is a Christ-centered transitional program for women desiring freedom from chemical dependency and sexual exploitation. Through solid Biblical teaching, women learn who they truly are at the core (the true self), what they are wired for, and how they can live wholely, successfully and productively in society.
We combine group structure, counseling, relapse prevention, life skills training, career assessment, continued education, fiscal responsibility, goal setting, and community service & outreach for a holistic approach to healing and wholeness.
Our approach to recovery and healing is built on the foundation of ageless Biblical principles. Since God created us, only God can fully restore us to the life we are meant to live.
When Jesus went to the Samaritan village of Sychar to meet a woman at the well, he changed her life. Not only did he reveal himself--the Messiah--to her, he revealed herself to her. The result: she was made whole. But it didn't stop there. She returned to her village with the message of healing and hope, and the entire village was transformed. This Samaritan woman found the source of healing and became the catalyst for transformation. (John 4)
At Samaritan Village, we believe that not only will the lives of Samaritan women be transformed, but their families and communities will be changed as well. The cycle of addiction, sex trafficking, violence and despair must end. This is where it stops.
